KrishiVigyan Kendra (KVK), Shamli was established at Jalalpur, Shamli (U.P.) in 2018 under the administrative control of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut. This district-level institution (Farm Science Center) helps bridge the gap between production and productivity by directly transferring the latest agricultural technologies to the end users. In addition to accelerating agricultural and allied production in the operational area, the KVK provides training tailored to the needs and requirements of farmers, farm women, and rural youths, including school dropouts, for self-employment and productivity enhancement. The KVK has a total land of 8.547 (+0.62) ha, of which 6.1 ha is under cultivation of various crops while 2.447 (+0.62) is used for other purposes.
